Orange all-round at the Area 18 Winter Intro Dressage Qualifier!

Yesterday was an orange day, with Bromyard bringing home eight orange frillies!

Individuals:

• Sarah Bodell 14th and Emily Goodwin 6th.

Our Diamonds Team finished 6th overall:

• Penny Hayward 8th, Harriet Turner 6th, Sally Walley 12th, and Kamilla Coleman 6th.

Our Sapphires Team finished 8th overall:

• Mandy Hill 14th, Jennie Hopkins 12th, Clare Gabriel 6th and Jane Guest 8th.

Brilliant riding from all members. Lots of learnings and demons conquered. Plus, many saying they want to do more dressage!

A crazy early start for some, too: Emily was first on at 8.30am for her second-ever dressage test!

A very special mention to all our prelim riders (Clare, Sally, Jane and Mil), who faced an extra challenge when they got the attached message from me this morning. Thanks ladies for coping so well and learning a test from Collett's rough hand-drawn dressage tests... Luckily they also had Sue Holloway to help warm them up.

It was so fantastic to have so many out having fun and representing our Club - I had a lovely day with you all, and the time flew!
